Bobby Snyder BMW Master Certified Technician
After graduating high school, Bobby took a strong interest in motorcycles. He began his career by washing Harley Davidsons at a local dealership. He spent more time assisting techs in their work than staying current in his own duties which drove him into MMI to obtain his certifications. Initially going after only the Harley brand, MMI began offering certifications in BMW. The technology and engineering precision of BMW peaked Bobby’s interest which caused a change in focus from Harley Davidson to BMW. As we fast forward, Bobby graduated from MMI with honors and used his newly acquired education to obtain his first job in Hawaii where he worked on BMW’s, Ducati’s, Honda’s, and Yamaha’s. After becoming a bit home sick, he moved back to Colorado where he started working at a shop in the Fort Collins area while also attending college to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Fast forward a bit more, Bobby received an offer from BMW of Denver which he felt he could not turn down based off of their stellar track record and reputation. Bobby has been working at BMW of Denver for the past two years which adds to his previous five years of experience of which four of his total years working were under the title of Master Technician. When Bobby isn’t at the shop helping BMW riders enjoy their motorcycles, he is out riding the beautiful Colorado landscape with his lovely girlfriend Erica on his beefed up K1200S.

Clem Cykowski Heritage Model Specialist
ccykowski@bmwofdenver.com
In the mid ‘60’s, I became fascinated with motorcycles and bought two basket cases, proceeding to build one functioning motorcycle from all of the parts, which I rode for a couple of years. Then came a new British twin, which soon became apparent was not going to fulfill the promise of long distance touring. A new BMW R60-2 was purchased in the summer of 1967, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I became interested in off-road riding in the late ‘60’s, competing in Enduros (including the Jack Pine), then motocross (remember the Coal Creek Raceway?). In 1972 I founded BMW of Denver, and have been here ever since, working in every phase of the dealership, continuing on in the service department as Heritage Technician, nonpareil.

Tara Pina BMW Certified Technician.
Out of 100’s of applicants Tara was one of only EIGHT technicians at MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute) to be accepted into the BMW STEP program. The program is so prestigious that you have to be invited by the instructors to interview for the opportunity to enter into the rigorous nine week training course. The training consists of ALL courses needed to become a BMW Certified Master Technician. She believes every day is an opportunity to learn something new and credits the experience and help of the team at BMW of Denver with making her a better technician. When pursuing her dream of moving to Denver and working at BMWOD Tara unfortunately had to give up her Yamaha V-star Custom. Replacing it is only a matter of time. When not at the store Tara can be found spending time with her partner Tracie and their two dogs Malakai and Bessa.
| Heidi is BMWOD's shop mascot. Bryan Hanson rescued her approximately 2 years ago and she has been a fixture at the shop everyday since. She is the sweetest most loveable creature you could meet. Come by with a Scooby Snack and you will have a friend for life. | |
